Soldiers engage in theoretical and practical curriculum, developing their knowledge and skills as All Source analysts. Competencies include procedural and conceptual knowledge, skills and attitudes associated with performing as a 35F. The 35F10 Intelligence Analyst course is a 13-week long course that graduates Soldiers capable of performing 35F Intelligence Analyst entry-level competencies and introduces them to intermediate competencies to illustrate future performance expectations. This is the first time a 35F10 Intelligence Analyst AIT graduation has occurred off the installation and it was a great way to advertise the Army, the Military Intelligence Corps, and Fort Huachuca to the community. Local high schools from both Sierra Vista and Tombstone were invited to the event along with the local recruiting station. The students graduated at Veterans Memorial Park to build the relationship between the Fort Huachuca and Sierra Vista communities as well as promote to the local populace what the Army is all about. Everette stated that we have decreased harmful behaviors on Fort Huachuca by 53 percent and that Fort Huachuca is within the top three installations in the total Army with the least number of harmful behaviors because of Soldiers like them. The RAPID program was established to encourage bystander intervention to prevent harmless behaviors from spreading within our ranks. “Kind of a big deal.”Įverette also spoke on the Resiliency, Awareness, Prevention, Inclusion, & Diversity (RAPID) program that 25 of the graduating Soldiers participated in. “You represent the less than 10 percent of the American population that makes the decision to serve in the military, you represent eight percent of the 35F skill level 10 in the Army, and you represent three percent of the total 35F population in the Army,” Everette said.
